The driver cannot see the corner

Backseat Rally Co-Driver Guide

You call direction, severity, and timing. The driver should brake in a straight line, then turn. Braking mid-corner is how these cars spin.

The HUD shows an arrow plus SLIGHT or HARD, and it previews the next arrow so you can say “slight left, then right.”

Who sits there

  • INVITE a friend, LEAVE SEAT OPEN, or press E on someone else's car.
  • AI CO-DRIVER fills the seat with RALLY BOT and can wear a friend's avatar.
  • Turn sound and voice chat on. If voice volume is 0, the human call never arrives.
  • Settings → Driving → Co-driver calls: Simple hides the numbers, Full shows them.

FAQ

Should I brake on SLIGHT?

Guides say no. SLIGHT is a lift. HARD is the brake call. Braking on every note makes the stage slow and unstable.

Can the co-driver drive?

The roles are split. Swap seats between runs if you both want a turn at the wheel.
