Privacy Policy

This policy matches the scripts on the page. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra advertising load by default on a first visit; pressing Reject stops their loaders and is remembered for 180 days.

Privacy requests go to [email protected].

What loads, and when

Analytics, session replay and advertising loaders run from the first screen when there is no unexpired Reject choice. A first-time visitor's unset choice is treated as granted for loading; the banner still appears, and Accept records that choice. Reject records denial for 180 days, updates Consent Mode and reloads the page without the vendor loaders.

The HTML sets Consent Mode v2 before any gtag config: analytics_storage is granted by default; ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are denied by default; ads_data_redaction is enabled. Consent Mode defaults govern Google's consent signals; the local banner controls whether Google tags, Clarity and Adsterra loaders run. On Reject all four consent signals become denied, the loaders stop, and the page reloads.

Cookies and localStorage in detail

The footer's Cookie settings button reopens the banner at any time. Clearing site data for this origin deletes bsr-consent and bsr-socialbar-closed; vendor cookies are cleared in the browser's own cookie controls.

  • bsr-consent (localStorage, this origin): JSON with choice, timestamp and a 180-day window. It is the only record needed to honour Accept or Reject.
  • bsr-socialbar-closed (localStorage, this origin): set to 1 when you close the Adsterra Social Bar, so it does not reappear on the next page load. Clear site data to bring the bar back.
  • Google tags are requested from www.googletagmanager.com and analytics data is sent to Google Analytics hosts. Google may use cookies when permitted by your browser settings; consult Google's current cookie documentation for the names and retention periods that apply to your configuration.
  • Microsoft Clarity is requested from www.clarity.ms and may make requests to other clarity.ms subdomains for its service. Microsoft may use cookies; consult its current cookie documentation for the names and retention periods that apply to your configuration.
  • The Adsterra loaders are requested from bicea.org. The scripts may create ad content or request resources from domains selected by Adsterra; those domains can vary by creative and auction. Adsterra and its selected partners control their own storage and cookies. This site's origin does not set Adsterra's vendor cookies.
  • YouTube is not requested until you press a Play video button. The player uses youtube-nocookie.com; the video service may store data when you start it.

Consent, Reject, and GPC

On a first visit no choice is written until you click a button. The unset choice is treated as granted for loading, so Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load by default while the banner is shown. Reject stores denied, switches off the Google tags, Clarity and Adsterra loaders, sets all four Consent Mode signals to denied, and reloads the page; the choice lasts 180 days. Accept stores granted and loads the vendors.

If navigator.globalPrivacyControl is true, the loaders stay off and all four Consent Mode signals are denied. A browser Do Not Track signal is not the same as Global Privacy Control; this site acts on Global Privacy Control.

Your preference and regional consent requirements

The default-on setting is a technical loading preference, not evidence that you have given affirmative consent. Not clicking the banner does not constitute consent under the GDPR or UK GDPR. This policy does not claim that default-on analytics, session replay or advertising satisfies regional prior-consent requirements.

Accept records an affirmative preference; Reject records an opt-out. The local preference record allows the site to remember your choice. Mail you send is used to answer your request. For questions about processing or applicable rights, contact the address above.

Retention

  • Consent choice (bsr-consent): 180 days, then the banner asks again and the default-on loading path applies.
  • Social Bar close flag (bsr-socialbar-closed): until you clear site data on this origin.
  • Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: retained under the respective vendor account settings and current service terms; this site does not assert cookie lifetimes that may vary by configuration.
  • Adsterra and any selected ad partners: storage and retention follow their own current policies; this site keeps no copy of their cookies.
  • Mail you send: kept only as long as needed to answer, then deleted on request.

Personalized advertising and opt-outs

  • Adsterra may personalize ads where your choice and your region allow it. Reject turns the ad loader off for 180 days; the footer button reopens the choice.
  • Google Ads Settings: adssettings.google.com — opt out of Google personalized ads.
  • YourAdChoices (Digital Advertising Alliance): optout.aboutads.info.
  • Your Online Choices (EDAA): youronlinechoices.com.
  • Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Browser-level controls and Global Privacy Control also stop the three loaders on this site.

Rights and changes

  • You can ask for a copy of mail you sent, or for that mail to be deleted, via the contact address. The site has no user accounts.
  • You can ask what consent record this origin holds; it is visible in your browser's localStorage under bsr-consent.
  • Changes show up on this page with a new date. The footer link is the notice.

FAQ

Do you sell personal data?

No. There is no customer list and no data broker relationship. Google, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load by default; Adsterra and its selected ad partners may use their own vendor storage, as described above.

How long is the consent choice kept?

180 days in localStorage under bsr-consent after you choose Accept or Reject, or until you clear site data.

Do analytics, replay and ads wait for me to press Accept?

No. They load by default when there is no unexpired Reject choice. Press Reject to stop them; the choice is remembered for 180 days and Cookie settings reopens the banner.

What is the yellow bar at the bottom?

The Adsterra Social Bar (unit SocialBar_1, 31910821). Its × button stores bsr-socialbar-closed so it stays closed after a reload.
