Can You Play Backseat Rally Solo?
The Roblox description says a friend's avatar rides along as your AI co-driver. You do not need a second person online.
The bot calls notes. It does not steer or brake for you.
Last checked 2026-10-25. Figures below are sourced. Anything not remeasured in the live game is labelled that way.

Turn the bot on
- PLAY → DRIVE → pick a car → CO-DRIVER → AI CO-DRIVER.
- The seat label is RALLY BOT. It can use a friend's avatar as the model even when that friend is offline.
- Voice chat is optional. The bot uses fixed calls, not your microphone.
- If an invite is still pending, the panel can keep showing the AI until the friend accepts.
What solo changes
| Solo + RALLY BOT | Two players | |
|---|---|---|
| Calls | Fixed HUD language | A person can add landmarks |
| Voice | Not required | Useful, and volume must be up |
| Weekly board | Pine Forest can show a SOLO tag | Two names can appear together |
| Control | You still drive | You still drive unless you swap |
Practice order
Learn the stage with the bot, then swap in a human co-driver once the corners are familiar. Free Roam is documented as walking the service area, not as an on-foot route-recce mode for the timed stages.

FAQ
Does solo disable leaderboards?
No. Stage guides describe Pine Forest weekly boards with a SOLO label. That is not the same rule as Rally With a Friend.
Will the AI avoid hazards for me?
Nothing in the official text says the bot drives. Treat it as early information only.
